Privacy
Artzine is made for public work and private control. This page explains what the service receives, what becomes visible, and the choices available to you.
Information we receive
We receive your email address when you sign in or ask for newsletter updates. If you create an account, we also keep the profiles, work, zines, saves, applications, reports and connection settings you choose to create.
Uploaded files arrive directly in object storage. Artzine keeps the file details and processing results needed to prepare, publish, deliver, export and remove them. We also receive ordinary request and security information needed to operate and protect the service.
Public and private
Published profiles, work and public zines can be seen and shared by anyone. Drafts, preparations, private saves, account settings, applications and unpublished zines stay private to the account and authorized Artzine review where review is requested.
Publishing is an explicit action. Preparing or uploading a file does not publish it.
How we use it
- Provide sign-in, publishing, collecting, sharing, export and removal controls.
- Process and deliver media in the formats used by the selected presentation.
- Prevent abuse, investigate reports and keep the service reliable.
- Send service email, or newsletter email when you separately request it.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising profiles.
Service providers
Artzine uses infrastructure, storage, media processing, security and email providers to run the service. They receive only the information needed for their part of that work and handle it under their own security and data protection obligations.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect people and the service.
Your controls
Your account includes controls to export account metadata, withdraw public work, revoke connected access and delete the account. Account deletion withdraws public profiles, work and zines, revokes access and schedules owned files for deletion within 24 hours. Backup copies expire within 30 days.
Newsletter messages include an unsubscribe link. You can also return to the newsletter page to check or change a request.
Cookies and security
Artzine uses essential cookies for sign-in, consent and security. Security checks may also use limited device and request information to distinguish people from automated abuse. Artzine does not use advertising cookies.
