About this artwork

Long before the "#metoo" scandals, NOIR found the treatment of women unfair and unjust when they wanted to gain power. Through this painting, NOIR wanted to represent the forced silence to women in order to prevent them from being listened to. The pattern placed before the mouth of this woman is an old pattern, which reminds us that we live in a world still dominated by old principles. Finally, the look of this woman shows that she is determined, and she will not give up.
