Mariana Telles da Silva Homem de Mello was born in Oporto on November 3, 1974, having always lived in Lisbon.In 1992 attended the course of Drawing of the National Society of Fine Arts in Lisbon.
She has been painting and drawing ever since. Her painting was, during the first years, was figurative and expressionist. In 2015, she began a new phase, abstract, with works that, in mind, have no preconceived aesthetics, subconsciously creating her layered painting through spontaneous and expressive gestures.
Being a creative person, she never had the need to focus on a specific technique, but on a variety of techniques, materials, and approaches through inspiration.
Her paintings are found in private collections in several countries.
