About this artwork

A central European attempt at combining cosmogony with commerce, showing the possible interplay between the darkness of pessimism and the light of a heavenly intervention. Not easy to say who wins, or even if this is a battle scene. The underside of bright positivity is always as interesting (if not more so) than the default New Age mentality of compulsory happiness. I think Pepsi have nailed it here. A lightning flash from God to Adam, or some such. We all need to reflect on it next time we sip a sweet soda.

[Part of a limited edition artwork sequence, 1 of only 8]
