The first step is to sign up, then follow the checklist on your Artist Dashboard. We will ask you upload a bio, some of your artworks with high-definition photos and your shipping options for review by our committee. If everything's fine and your profile meets our quality standards, then we will activate it and you will be able to start selling straight away. The whole process is quick, easy and free.
Artzine supports the work of both emerging and accomplished artists. If you are at least 18 years of age and live somewhere on planet earth, then you are eligible to sell your art on Artzine. Please be aware that we will not be able to work with every artist who subscribes; each artist is carefuly selected by our committee to maintain the high quality of art on Artzine.
It’s completely free to join Artzine, and always will be. We charge a flat commission of 20% on artwork sales for artists who have setup their shipping rates. If an artist hasn't entered shipping rates at the time of sale, the Artzine team will coordinate with both parties to generate a shipping quote for that order. In this case, our commission would be 30%.
You can sell artwork in any of the following mediums, including: painting, collage, drawing, mixed media, limited edition prints and sculpture. We also accept photography and digital art, but in general we are more selective with these mediums.
We’ve put a lot of effort into simplifying the sales process for both you and the collector, and everything can be managed from your Artist Dashboard. Once you sell an artwork you will get both a notification on your dashboard and an email. From that moment, you will have five (5) working days to confirm the order and to book a courier. We do require that you use a registered postal service and enter a tracking number into the system, so the collector can trace the package. We also highly recommend that you ship the artwork fully ensured to avoid any transit related risks. All shipping costs are paid for by the buyer based on the rates you specify. We will begin processing your payout seven (7) days after your artwork has been safely delivered to the buyer, which means that you will see the money in your account within fourteen (14) business days of delivery. All payouts are made via wire transfer (direct deposit) or PayPal, and can be tracked via your Artist Dashboard.
