About this artwork
Within the discarded reels of deteriorating celluloid film – especially in Eastern European archives – you can come across many narratives of unease and distress, all quite magnificent in their shameless otherness. Dr Monty Kaplan foretells the past, perhaps by means of a channelled consciousness. You need to attune to this meaning, on your own. No exorcist will then be able to reach you, truly. This will have nothing to do with the absurdity of shamanism and religious possession, and even less to do with social satire and political activism. Start with those b&w movies of Pavlov’s dogs.

[Part of a limited edition artwork sequence, 1 of only 8]
[Notes] My works are portals to strange and disturbing worlds which cannot be reached any other way. [For a more detailed explanation please check my writings online and videos on Youtube.]
[All artworks are printed on archive quality oyster paper and then professionally framed, with reinforced backing and museum standard acrylic/Perspex. The framing of the larger works alone costs around $2k. I personally supervise the production of each one. And each artwork is shipped in its own specially constructed packing case.]
