Adonis Stoantzikis (b.1984) is a Greek artist living between Athens and Amsterdam. He is a storyteller who investigates how narrating affects and involves in shaping our perception of life.
Stories lie at the center of experience, essential for our being. Storytelling is much more than an act, Rosenblatt said. It is a philosophy of life. In the first place, in the last place, that is what we people do – write messages to one another. We are narrative species. We exist by storytelling - by relating our situations – and the test of our evolution may lie in getting the story right..
On Adonis own words "My work searches the basic human impulse to tell stories. Artists are among those people responsible for telling stories, those self-appointed few who are the outstanding storytellers."
